Ok. Here's a good one. How do you light a green screen when your actors are sitting down on it? I have a scene where my actor is laying down, and the green from the screen reflects onto him screwing up the keying of my shot. Any ideas or do I just mask and tween in after effects?

@GrannyMoMo3 no, but a good quality camera will make it nice and crisp. What you NEED is a editing program that has chromakey. If your thinking WinMovieMaker, no that doesnt have chromakey. Chromakey can be any colour, its just that green is the colour furtherest from the colour of skin

Got me a green and blue cloth that works quite well and only cost me like $6 to $9.  Just had to go up to my local sewing shop/arts and crafts store. Selected what I wanted and had them cut the size to 6 feet long by 3 feet wide. If I needed longer I could just glue or stitch two pieces together.

I've done the plastic stuff myself, actually, it was the EXACT same stuff he had in this video. It's pretty useless in any area with even a SLIGHT draft. Go with a mid weight cloth, or painted back boards (use flat, not glossy). Also, green plastic is too transparent.

Plastic creates hot spots. You need a flat and low reflective paint. specialty paint for chromakeying.

yes a green bed sheet works ..I got a roll of green felt for $28 at walmart and its 10 ft by 15 ft .I built a stand for about $40 and it all works great I use it outside under naturall lighting,,so I dont need any light kit..I recommend that route if possible...check a few of my vids they look pretty good...some of my older vids I use a green bed sheet in the garage, quality is not very good..but the felt outside is awesome perhaps Ill make a vid explainig how I did it for less that $80

They are the same. If you are going to have a green shirt or anything green in the video you should use blue.

But most people use green because blue is found a lot more often in the natural world (especially clothing) than green is.
