The angles they forecast means they just don't know what the true orbit will be...or do know & don't want the public to know. Some say Elenin is an artificial object. NASA refuses to release hi-res film. Of course that's NASA's method. Check the crappy moon, mars, & phobos picts. Compare them to google earth. The hi-res picts are not for the common man.
