Those are budget bills which are supposedly legal to do reconciliation. I don't think any bill should be passed with it. However no major bill has ever and should never be done under reconciliation. In the last poll 70% of the people said they do not want this bill, to push the thru under reconciliation is the most unconstitutional thing they have ever tried against the American people.

Nuclear Option is to end filibusters & bring it to a standard vote. Reconciliation allows issues relating to the annual budget to be decided by a majority vote without the possibility of filibuster. Reconciliation stands for the act of merging bills that have already passed with the proper house and/or senate majorities. Not necessarily a simple majority vote. But what can I say? There's no defending his words. When he claimed that "you can't pass a healthcare bill with 51 votes", he was clearly mistaken.

FYI Reform is not expanding Government programs that are bankrupting the country. Reform is not mandating people to purchase coverage and outlawing economical health plans. Reform is not more price controls that are a veiled form of rationing care. Reform is not reducing choice and competition causing prices for those who have insurance to skyrocket. Reform is not taxing sellers and buyers of healthcare where those charges get passed to the consumer. This is a sad day.

Those are budget bills which are supposedly legal to do reconciliation. I don't think any bill should be passed with it. However no major bill has ever and should never be done under reconciliation. In the last poll 70% of the people said they do not want this bill, to push the thru under reconciliation is the most unconstitutional thing they have ever tried against the American people.

Thank you for demonstrating you do not understand government budgeting. See, when you hand out a "tax cut" to the top 3% of wage earners, that was $ that was much needed, counted on, depended on. In not taxing them, you're giving them $/spending $ that was already placed/spent in other parts of the budget. The CBO agrees with me on this. If you disagree, take it up with them. AGAIN, no outrage what-so-ever from you then about government spending, why is that?
