  • Performing @ the Canadian Guitar Festival, July 29th - 31st, 2011. Kingston Ontario .

  • There are so many great Italian guitarists'. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John Petrucci and this guy. :)

  • @ForcedAgenda don't forget Pino Forastiere!

  • @fryBASS Ahhh yes! Very true! Thank you!

  • @ForcedAgenda annd Sergio Altamura ;)

  • at 0.23 he loses it for a split second

  • 5:49 He missed a spot.

  • There can be only one explanation for Barone's amazing ability...the headphones.

  • Wow this is awesome, almost feels like these artist are tapped into another planet consciousness, i'm looking for flights out Today,,;) Visually hummm? Reminds me of bora bora lagoon resort, or Italy's island of Capri I.E. paradise

  • ahahhaha so sick how he leads into metronix.

  • this guy inspires me.

  • great BARONE

  • He might as well be playing an electric guitar.

    Lets keep acoustic acoustic.

  • @judsonkimble

Lets let the musician decide how he's going to make the music.

  • @judsonkimble

    Why ?

If what you say is true, the mighty M Hedges would have still created great music, but w/o his use of electronics, the duel pick ups system w/ FRAP under the bridge, his greatest peices like Arial Boundaries, breakfast in the field and especially the ones Stropes trancsribed would not have sounded as they did live or on the album. Granted this guy is taking a more Fripp approach with E bow etc.....but the creativity is unique are awesome. I think :)

  • stefano !!!!!!!!!!!!!!ho ye!

  • before watching this video i only knew batman by him, and some guitar republic stuff, which are awesome nevertheless, but man he really has some awesome solo pieces!

  • 5:33 The art of polishing a guitar

  • @ariessflare lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where is system up on his cd???

  • ö.ö

  • This is good, but I prefer the original studio recording he did.

  • bof

  • Where the streets have no name....nice, very nice adaptation indeed!!

  • Nice!

  • Great performance.

  • Batman?

  • reminds me of michael hedges combined with king crimson. good stuff

  • @seamusconley

    funy, my thoughts exactly!

saw fripp a few yrs ago...a most intersting and quite show.

  • is this guy in guitar republic?

  • @fattywithchips Yes.

  • @fattywithchips yes.

  • Incomplete atom creations.

  • I was very impressed with this song. It sounds so amazing.

  • wats the best way to get this high quality recording sound synced with the video footage?

  • @thepeterfile just use whatever u wanna use for a camera and then record the audio externally. get some kinda of a an external mic and then match it up in a program afterwards

  • how can anyone dislike this?

  • 7 people are trollfags.

  • I want to be able to do that someday!

  • How can 7 people dislike this? They must be deaf.

  • Loving the first minute then....Had to turn it off - Dissonant Frequencies!!! Bad Air.

  • I always think when I listen to Stefano's songs, his songs should have been in the movie August Rush...

  • An E-Bow with an acoustic, nice!

  • i want those headphones

  • @GayForJC Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO

  • reminds me of En T'Attendant by antoine dufour

  • This guy is crazy good, I hope he makes more songs like "minimalaction"

p.s. does ayone know the name of the songs that play from 4:37 to 8:20

  • His music seriously reminds me of modern classical guitar music like leo Brouwer, etc. The main focus is not on colourful melodies or complicated rhythms. It's more to the feel of each piece. Hats off to you Stefano Barone! =)

  • Am I the only person that liked it more past 3:00 ?

  • amazing work, it's incredible what he can do with just some delay

  • There's is a constant question in music: Do I play because I want others to feel harmony, or is it my personal expression?

This is very much the second one. He might like it, I don't.

  • Complimenti davvero...

  • *speechless*

  • In Michigan April 2011 with Michigan Fingerstyle Guitar Society! Can't wait!!

  • wow, this is beyond comprehension, wow

  • Great, i love it! AWESOME

  • nice job, but are these excerpts from a full score? While unique and dynamic as a whole, it all seems to begin to run amok in the third minute...nonetheless, still an excellent display of a man and his work

  • @Spyder8477 It's not one piece, it's excerpts from all the tracks on the CD

  • Superbe !!!

  • It was ok until the weird effects took over.

  • @gentlemanbagua i agree, somewhere around the 3 minute mark, it began to stray from the feel I was getting from the piece.

  • Amazing.

  • You can only buy a CD of this? I'd want a DVD so we can actually see what he's doing.

  • Whats the name of the song that starts at 3:57?

  • How can u hear the taping? :O

  • @BlazzyAce Ears, we all have ears. You need to try them sometimes!

  • @Acodin144 I mean, it's almost impossible to make taping sound that much on an aucoustic guitar

  • @BlazzyAce Oh ok, I read your comment in bad way, sorry :)

Yes it is impossible to make that with normal guitar, but this is an electro acoustic guitar, It gives alot new options at play.

  • @Acodin144 Ok :D

  • ยอดเยี่ยมเพราะมากจับใจเลย

  • 1st bit was nice

2nd bit was very advon gaurde

3rd bit it didn't like because it seemed like too much was happening

4th was very calm and melodious I liked it a lot

5th was interesting how he used the ebow and cloth to get those sounds

and 6th has a wicked intro and sound, very inventive, and the fade out to the drumming guitar was amazing.

    Great job Stefano Barone

  • Didn't really do much for me.

  • He kinda reminds me of Explosions In The Sky. So melodic and soothing ;p

  • this is his song Batman, and its AWESOME1

  • oh my goodness! I'm glad i subscribed! this is amazing!! absolutely fantastic!

  • what pedals are those??

  • @Pereira963 Awesome ones :]

  • @Pereira963 The pedal to Barone's left appears to be a Boss GT-8. The pedal to his right is a Boss RC-50.

  • Billy Mclaughlin style! Watch out, this style is very ROUGH on the hands and finger bones.

  • Incredible ♪♫♪♫

  • WOOOOOOOOT

  • the name batman was to wicked or what ? xD ..

  • I'm a fan!

  • wow

  • marvelous

  • that neck is nice for an acoustic what is it?

  • @GuttedAtBirth It's a Martin guitar.

  • God i want them back at the Big Mama as soon as possible <3

  • Loopy.

  • O_0 wowww

  • i had to thumbs up before i watched the video

  • @semmee I've been watching it 3 times back to back,,,;)P 50 Thumbs up!!!

I still have to wonder why these types of Guitarist aren't more mainstream Popular.

I think Rockefeller Records might have some type of control on whats allowed to be Popular, lot's of stuff coming out about search: music industry exposed, and buckle in

  • good shit as usual from anyone featured on this channel!
