The subaru would kill the lancer in the qarter mile race with 346 hp stock and weighing only 30278 pounds the subaru is better built has better suspention and is overall the better car. If you put a bigger turbo gutted it and bumped it up to stage 2 it would have 490 hp and would be able to go 200 mph+. MITSUBISHI CAN SUCK MY WEENIE. lmao because of all you lancer guys

@YuLost2X The subaru has a more buildeable engine it can be built for 900 hp The Lancer is more open ended i guess a more simple engine But still can also be built up, My dad has a subaru Wrx Sti 2008 that has stage 2 and a built up motor and it runs high 10s on the Quarter mile so at the end the evo is better stock but not when it comes to building it up

@Gbreinin You sound like a Subaru fanboy. Its common fact that the 4g63t in the Evo is a much better engine than Subarus EJ25 series. The 4g63t is more reliable and much easier and cheaper to tune. The 4g63t also produces much more torque at low and mid range. The EJ25 sounds nicer but thats about it.

I must say that I like the Impreza more, they've always had better handling and to me, a better design style. But don't get me wrong I love the Lancer as well but some stuff that they use for rally versions like the giant foglights or that custom aero bodykit ruined them when used. but all in all, both great cars ^^

Didn't even know people used those in time attack. But gutting the car and carbon fiber doors I don't think will lose 400lbs. Maybe 200, or even 300, but not 400. A gutted EVO has a hard time getting to 2800.

Subaru is nothing other then its Impreza for WRC. Its biggest weakness is cannot able to manage the acceleration in rally.

Mitsubishi Is the better in its Evolution. Japan Sport cars have focus in the way their car runs. HIGH acceleration, Good handling, FAST REACTION in the most important.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 In terms of GSR MR or GSR its still better then Subaru Impreza
