Now that I watch it again, yeah I see what you are saying. I was at NJMP watching Round 1 of Rally America, I wish I had enough cha-ching to race cars wheel-to-wheel in rally cars. That place is a blast with the go karts too.
That pickup is a NASA ProTruck. They're basically tube frame "stock car" chassis with huge pushrod V8s, wrapped up in truck(-ish) body panels. When it's dry, they usually end up being the fastest cars in Big Bore.

Looks like fun! At 2:59 it looked like the driver braked too late while turning and upset the balance of the car and spun out.
