  • This is incredible work. I'm not familiar with Hachette. Is it a publishing company? There was a Hachette in the 70's out of France that sold reproductions of French Hornby M Series trains with their magazines. Is it the same company?

  • im behind on a few issues right now. But hopefully by next year I will have a fully functual model of the Bismarck!

  • Hey. Congratulations on completion of the Bismarck. In NZ we are only onto issue 105 so wont be finished for another 8 - 9 months unfortunately. Very much looking forward to that day though.

  • there is RMS Titanic on second plan i have the same modell but I still work at him this is hachette colletion greetings to you (sorry about my english) ;p

  • My compliments on the detail you were able to cram into the scale size. Espcially the deck fittings, hose reels, hatches, the fine railings, steps and ladders. you even remembered to add the supports for the solid bulkheads around the bridges and walks. And the many air intakes, the periscopes on the forward command tower. A very fine job. I built several Bismarck/Tirpits models, 1/100 and 1/200 and sold some to collectors and museums.

  • Magnificent work
