Have you tried Morphine's "Resynthesis Panel" yet? I've tried resynthesizing various one-shot bass and synth .wav sounds, but the end results never seem to sound anything like the originals. I suppose I could be doing something wrong, but the process is fairly straightforward. If you have any luck, maybe you could post a tutorial video? (Pretty please!) :-D Thanks!
I am sorry, but I haven't been able to invest nearly enough time in this instrument to get into resynthesis. I just have too many instruments and not enough time, and many of them are more complex and deeper than meets the eye.
keybdwizrd, have you ever used propellerhead's reason? i'm curious on what your opinion would be of it... especially compared to these soft synths you are using
Sorry for the delayed response, but with 100+ videos it is tough to keep up with all of the questions that people post. But no, actually, I've never used Reason. I could be wrong, but as I recall it's kind of a closed-universe thing, and doesn't play well with others.
Nice demo...just lacks the warmth of analogue! What is your take on Hardware Analogue, Hardware Digital and Soft Synths/ For me, The Korg legacy collection and G-Media Imposcar are the only soft synths I use, the rest seem to lack something...but they're damn close...Though I must admit, I prefer hardware...but maybe this could be a furture post of yours...the Pro's and Cons of both! Anyway, love seeing your demo's
I LOVE the first melody you play in the very beginning! Sounds familiar tho, like its from an 80s song or something .....I'm almost expecting to start hearing some orchestra strings in there all leading into a an explosive overdrive guitar and drums lol ..thats just me tho! :)
What Is The Sound You Use In 2:44? Please Tell ME ;) Nice Vid !

@MultiKidds I typically list the patch name at the bottom of the screen. In this case, it is "Simple But Nice."

It seems as though you can have tons of fun even with a 25-key MIDI controller, along with a sound module. Inspiring video!

Thanks! I always try to work with whatever instruments I've got.

"simple but nice" was delicious

Because with a 25 key key board its more compact for on the move or if you've got a studio at home or working with projects at home.
And M-Audio are nice & Easy to use
WoTsHaNeNiN94 3 years ago
just wanted to understand:
why you would use a small controller to play rather than your other nice big 60+ key keyboards to play??
is the M-Audio controller much easier or nicer to use?
mossyburger 3 years ago
It fits better in the video.

hey! nice video. are you using logic pro 8 to get these sounds or do they come of the actual controller?
