It's interesting to hear the common phrases put in place in both the violin and cello concerto. I can hear the violin concerto through the cello concerto.
ok.. Thank you guys for your comments , otherwise i would just go shoot myself .. I play it slower than that.. and it has a completely different feeling with that speed. Yo yo ma is an amazing Cellist.
Thanks for posting this. I played this years ago for my undergraduate college auditions. I have always loved this piece. I wish it were played more often. I have never viewed this as a "student" piece. The 2nd movement really makes this a really successful and great piece of music. This is also a teriffic recording.

Watch Zara Nelsova, she's better, he plays to many open strings, it sounds sort of tinny
