You can use the Samsung PC Studio, or whatever it's called. Or you can change the way the phone connects to the computer in the settings to "Mass Storage" and it will come up on your computer like a USB Flash Drive etc. Hope that helps

I was playing around with the phone today and got drawn into using it again....I think I'm thinking about using the Samsung for a little while before getting another better phone. Is the internet usage that bad? I've got a Nokia 6500 classic which due to the screen size makes it difficult to enjoy. Can you download content (pictures etc) from the internet to a folder on ure phone?

Hi, few questions.

1. What is the quality of the internet like on the phone? In terms of speed, presentation? I'm debating whether to use this phone ahead of my Nokia 6500 classic so any thoughts on the best phone would be great. I'm more of a media, internet sorta guy so that's why the Socco appeals to me.

2. Do you encounter any problems with the touch screen element of the phone and any issues with the slide?

Hi buddy, if you're looking to use the internet on this phone a lot I would NOT recommend it! The screen, although it's very bright and presents colours very nicely, is very low resolution which makes browsing web pages pretty tiresome!

The only issues I had with the slide was after i dropped it and it wasn't as smooth after. If you're looking for something to use the internet on a lot i'd look at HTC phones or similar, not sure if you're looking at seconf hand at all?

@propaintballa Right, that's sealed it. I was thinking about it but going to keep my Classic for now. I'm looking for second hand phones yeah. Samsung Galaxy Ace was one phone but that's not appearing too much at my local phone dealers. One of the Blackberry's (priced around £100) is an option.

HTC phones gives me something t o think about. Not sure which one would fit my £130 price bracket. Any suggestions mate? Keep up the good work

Yeh pretty sure the Lowest Blackberry would fit into your budget, have you looked on eBay? There are lots of bargains on there phone wise! I got my iPhone 3G on there in September for £140 which is getting on a bit now. I know the HTC Wildfire is pretty good although the Galaxy Ace i think is regarded as a better device!

Yeh, you probably have, pay as you go phones usually come de branded because some aren't tied to a certain operator, so don't have say, Orange software on. Depending on your contract or whatever, de branding will void your warranty. If you wana talk about it more, just add me on msn because it's a pain on here. Thanks :)

I'm not sure. If it uses the internet and not an actual GPS receiver then you would just be paying more. Like i said though, i can't really say for sure as i don't use it because you have to pay for Orange maps.

you can turn vibration feedback down to save battery life also turn bightness down to 3. Put it on lock the screen and it lasts longer also.

Good question :-) I bought the tocco ultra 2 months ago but a week ago I wanted the Aino for the remote play (ps3). For the moment I use the two of them because I prefer to send sms with the tocco. Maybe I sell it if I find a buyer.

Yes, the option is in "Application Settings"... Your phone obviously wasn't locked, otherwise it wouldn't have gone off... Mine doesn't :)

No... You're not looking at apps. You go to the main menu, go to settings, in setting you go to application settings, and at the bottom is Fake call... And you turn it off

Change the PC Connection in the Phone Settings to Mass storage. Plug the phone in, when it comes up, navigate to where your video is stored on the phone then copy and paste...

Hi, i'm not sure on either of them as i don't use them. A lot of people have a different menu depending on their software and their network provider. As for the apps, i know you can get them, but i don't know where from, just Google.

could you put in one of your videos how you text using the non touch part, as i have been told its really hard, i use predictive and hate touch texting i have also been told if you want to say good home will come up and if punctuation is used it will go back to home when you want to say good , if that makes sence , this is the only problem i see with having the phone as i text alot :) if i see the texting can be used on the pad in predictive well i will get the phone thanks x

Well... I couldn't really demonstrate that as i don't use predictive text myself, so i doubt i would get it right anyway. The texting isn't the best i've experienced, the keys are a bit tough and sometimes it glitches and give you the completely wrong letter. There is a firmware update that mine doesn't have that is supposed to make the texting better.
