Can you believe Jonathan is just 4 years younger than Chet? Chet looks like he's 70!!! I felt bad for him when Joel drug him around in that one challenge, because it really was like a bullying situation. But overall, he definitely was the epitome of useless. Yes, he is a HOT man. Those blue eyes just had me hooked as well. The first thing that I thought was that he did sound almost exactly like Alan Alda. It was so odd. LOL I have now seen Jonathan in tons of movies and tv shows. At the time, I didn't know he was an actor. Chet ruined everything for Tracy by quiting. Imagine if Chet had stayed strong and Tracy, Amy and Eric had blindsided Ozzy that would change the game completely. They would have pulled Elisa and Jason with them when they merge.

Well there was no evidence from the show that the people running the show actually told him to leave. He didn't even see the medical crew on the show as far as I remember. I think he is talking out of his ass. Well, we will have to see what was up at the Reunion show.

i think penner is coming back actually...with Probst's saying "first thing to EVER happen in Survivor history..." blah blah blah, and it shows the speed boat he left on coming back...plus, in this video...Chet is now fat and pale and Penner is thin still, plus he still has the tan lines from his shirt...making me think he came back!!! HELL YES!!! if not, then Probst's Ep.7 preview faked me out! :(

Chet was pretty pathetic - he said in interviews that he thought that [blindsiding Ozzy] was something Tracy could do after he left". And it's not about three more days - he was going to be pulled for medical reasons. The question is, why did he ask to wait for the tribal council when he was going to leave either way? Did he want final words?

yes, i did watch it...obviously, it wasn't that serious and he was just saying that, because there would have been NO talk about attempting to get off Ozzy...plus, if it was serious they would have yanked him immediately like Jonathan...so YES, i did watch the video...did you? Chet's injury wasn't that serious that he would have to be operated on right away, but he wouldn't be able to last out the rest of the 39 days - they wanted to take him immediately, but he asked to be voted out honourably, and I assume that one more day there wasn't going to be fatal, so they let him have his wish. Also, Jonathan has said in an interview that Chet was in the same hospital as him, being operated on for that injury. He had an actual injury.

whatever, i'm just pissed that jonathan had to be removed...he's was worse than Chet's, obviously, Jonathan wasn't "allowed" to stay through any votes. If penner had that heel injury he would have stuck it out. That's all..nothing against you ballsabouncing, i'm jsut going through some major penner withdraw! :(

But he shouldn't have stuck it out. They let Chet wait one day, because it was going to have to be operated on soon - so he wouldn't be kept another episode, probably - but not necessarily immediately. Plus, it would kind of suck to have two people evacuated in one episode. Jonathan had already been kept a few days after the initial injury - when he was evacuated, it was when it had gotten too dangerous to keep him there.
