I don't think this is really a cheat, but if you go to the Hostile Territory, you can pick up Bomb rocks by simply pushing the control stick on the Bomb rock. You will pick it up and throw with A. (Not for 1-P, sorry.)

The Pikmin are actually singing the winning captain's name. The first part with the Pikmin singing, they're saying "O-ri-ma", Olimar's Japanese name. The second chant they're saying "Lou-ie".

some times when me and my sis play its nuts too one time we had a battle last 10 minutes. running back and forth to pluck pikmin, trying to steal the others marble, cheary wheels spinning none stop, it was insane. (but a lot of fun!)

The pikmin fall off the dead corpse only to immediately get up and fight each other. xD

I love to be sneaky and resourceful, but it doesn't work if someone does a full frontal charge on me. By the time I have a souped-up team, my marble is half-way across the map. LOL.

yep. what me and my sis do sometimes is when victory is imminent, one will declare a "final battle for justis and liberty" in with case all pikmin stop. both players meet (with there pikmin back at base) in the middle of the map. say, "let it begien," then run for the pikmin. is it stupid? yes. but I don't care. it's to much fun!
