i trial and errored for the past 3 hours but i have the xbox360 WIRED controller's buttons maped out if any1 here needs em just reply to this msg and ill msg the map to you ( its about 20 lines long tells you which symbol represents which anolog stick's movement and which button number represents which button on controller
@emmanuelhamp1990 it is soo long it will b in 2 messages and wut im sending you is wut the joytokey program views the buttons on the controller as example moving joystick to the right = a symbol like this (o>) its simple to understand hard to explain
@sijenkinson1 it is soo long it will b in 2 messages and wut im sending you is wut the joytokey program views the buttons on the controller as example moving joystick to the right = a symbol like this (o>) its simple to understand hard to explain
you dont need that to do it with a wired controller just plug it in then go to options and configure controls then go to controllers drop down arrow and click your controller then just set the controls
great video, i have a question, i also use mame32 and psx emulators with my 360 controller, will doing this for project64 affect how my controller works with those other emulators?
latioslover111, Xpadder is good, and I use it for most of my games, but it has its' flaws. Because it's so good, the company Gameguard, which is encripted in games like Maplestory or any other Nexon game, blocks Xpadder, because they don't want you to cheat. So, sometimes I have to use JoyToKey instead of Xpadder.
hey does this work for pc games like left 4 dead?

It may if you're using JoyToKey for mame32 and psx, but if you're not, it shouldn't.
And if you are, just set different configurations for use with different emulators.
Just shut joytokey off if you're not using it with mame32 or psx.

How do you hook up the controller if you have a wireless 360 controller?
SpiderMagic123 2 years ago
As far as I know, you can't.
However I think there may be an extra cable you'd need to buy. Not sure though.
happytrailstudios 2 years ago
You can, you just have to buy a special reciever
