You will have to adjust the port no. right click bb5_unlocker located in LOGS folder and open with notepad type in the correct port used for the dku-5 cable e.g. COM3: and then save the notepad. Now it should work. any problem please consult.

my cp (although i dont know what you meant by it) is not a mess. I have unlocked about 10 phones by now.

unfortunately, ca-53 wouldn't work. You must use dku-5 cable. It is available cheap on ebay. When you get the cable, I will be happy to guide you through the process.

Hi, I am having a problem.. basically!.. my nokia 6680 is unlocked and when I connect the phone via CA-53 cable to the computer I start up the BB5 Unlocker and when the nokia screen appears I press "Read phone" then a message comes up saying... "Bad connection etc".. can you help me.. my COM is 3 and 4 thos are the only numbers that they work on.. I have tried the other numbers...1,2,5,6,7,8,9 these numbers dont seem to work.. if you can help me out.. it would be much appreiated!.. thanks! :)

Dear, I will tell you what your problem is: your problem is that you are using the wrong CABLE!.

I am afraid to tell you that you must use DKU-5 cable NOT CA-53. This happens to lots of people but the truth is that you must use dku-5 to have your phone unlocked. Tell what happens later. Best, HaZrA

Basically with my phone it says!.. sim card invalid!... I have tried every sim in that phone and nothing seems to work... I highly doubt that the DKU-5 cable will work at all!.. because of the error message that is being displayed on hte screen everytime I try and insert a different sim into the phone!..

In this case the DKU-5 absolutely wouldn't work since the phone must be totally accessibale so that the BB5 unlocker can read it. I think It would be a good idea to try to unlock using one of the unlocking solutions available today like JAF box.

Yes, you can fix it. It must be firmware failure, All you need to is to take your handset to the nearest repairing point and ask for a new "flash" or software and I am sure it will be running brilliantly again. I hope I've made my self clear
