  • jensen ackles is the killer

  • I loved the 3-D in this movie especially the part where the naked chick threw her gun toward the audience my brother literally jumped. I watched this at home at night time so the living room would get very dark and I'd say its still a fun experience on DVD I wish i could have seen it in theaters though.

  • or did was it a camera that she threw......? Anyways great experience

  • DUDE! It was awesome. The 3D was probably the most effective part of the overall presentation in my opinion. I took my glasses off briefly but kept them on because even though it was scary without them it was very lifelike and crazy in 3D.

  • well there weren't a lot of movements that let u actually see the 3d so i dont know

  • No, you don't pronounce the T. :-) Also, I think it's a K sound instead of a KW sound in the middle. But it is nonetheless a pretty awesome French word.

  • i saw that movie. man, those boobies bounce real good in 3D.

  • boobies you say? hmmm

  • best movie of the year dude :D

  • A great film that i really enjoyed ( even if i only went to Jensen Ackles in 3D initially lol ). The 3D was a lot better than i expected , you felt like you could actually reach out and touch things. 10/10 worth watching.

  • Go see this movie and over 30,000 more free at greatmovies(DOT)tk

  • It was awesome! XD I hadn't been to a 3D show since I was really young, so was expecting cheapo 3D glasses with the red and blue lenses, which gave everything that sickly tint.

I really liked the plot of the film (kept you guessing!), but it was the 3D that really made it. Horror kicks ass in 3D :D

  • Go to greatmovies[DOT]tk to watch this movie and many more for free.

  • I thought it was awesome!!!! The 3 "D" kicked major booty....totally awesome and fun movie because of the 3 "D" honestly without the 3 "D" just ok... but put it all together and I'd give it a b+++++. and that's not just because Joey's my son either.

  • aww shucks thanks mom.

  • Want to view this movie and over 25,000 more go to greatmovies[DOT]tk

  • enough with this 3-D crap gimmie 4-D, I want to see Time~

  • DMT

  • I'm gonna bank on the better movie going experience being the 3d one. I want to see fire flying over the audience because I watch too much television. xD

  • Gotta say, I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was, but it turned out pretty good. 3D definitely was what made the movie though :) it was my first real 3d movie experience - I wonder if this is what it was like when the first color film came out...

Rock on though, looks like you're involved with some really awesome projects as of late.

  • Haha. Thanks man. I don't know if you ever saw Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D, but that one was a mess compared to the 3D in MBV. The 3D was all over the place. MBV was the first 3D movie that I really feel is totally comfortable to watch from start to finish. Glad you had a good time!

  • I should say, The 3D was comfortable to watch... The subject matter? ehhh, maybe not so much. :)

  • i just seen it today in Imagine theater in 3d. it was okay but it seem kinda confusing on how it turned out to be.

well it was nice experience though.

  • i wish bigger directors like quentin tarantino would talk to people on these comment things.

  • Ha Ha Ha,

I saw gran torino 3 nights before i went to see this one.

  • I want to watch it for the 3D-ness of it.

  • Famous UK TV personality Jonathan Ross saw your movie and wrote about it on Twitter.

Here's part of what he said "The 3D is very good. Lashes of gore for the Fangoria crowd and plot keeps moving. Good friday night mindless fun." His Twitter name is Wossy.

    Good Job!

  • We went and saw that just the other day. It was fun, the fact that it was 3D was really cool :) The story was probably pretty lame, but the 3D part took away from that, so we didn't really care. We had to sit at the very front, but it was still enjoyable. I'd definitely go see it again.

  • Id love to come and support you but my mum OTM wont give me the dollar to fly over, all i can say is is that i hope she is looking forward to mothers day

  • i saw it and they didnt have it in 3d i was so pissed so im gonna try to find a theater that has it in 3d

  • aww bummer. You gotta try and see it in 3D. It makes it way better.

  • Re: 3D

I knew that fire was you!

    Did you handle the blood?

    Did you handle the boobs?

    I hope you wore gloves!

  • That was scary enough!

  • You aren't supposed to prononce the "t" of "croquant". Sounds like you are saying "croquante" which is the feminine form of the same word. But you are right, it does sound funny when you say it though. lol.

  • I LIKED IT A REAL LOT! The 3D was great! What part exactly did you have in making this movie? Was it making Tom looks real hot/angsty? If so, job well done!

  • I might check it out...I like 3D

    Pickles<3

  • OMGGGGGG

  • Is Seattle part of the greater Vancouver area? I think Washington is awesome enough to be considered part of the United States and Canada...

  • How long are you going to be up there? Your a Lucky Dud.

  • Dud, I am so there.

  • Hey, didn't know you were in Canada or what we Canucks call the Great White North. Enjoy your stay :) The 3D Valentine sounds interesting.

  • croquante!

so what's the deal with 3d? how do the glasses filter the different images for each eye? it's not with a blue/red filter like those shitty glasses they used to have for tv shows.. what is it then?

  • Dude, I had no idea you worked on this movie! I was already planning on seeing it, but now I have even more incentive.

Too bad I can't make it to Vancouver, but I shall support this flick nonetheless!

  • a freeway right there? canada be trippin' sometimes! (chuckle)

...the was a command. ok no. hahaha

  • so i was gonna go but Metro transit doesn't have any city buses that run from Minnesota to Vancouver not to mention my bus pass only has net balance of $0.06 on it

  • So you are working in Vancouver? Cool. At least the snow has melted eh? :p

  • vraiment croquant.

i want to see that movie cuz of the 3d thing.

  • Holy Crap your in the big time, but with your talent thats not surprising

  • did you learn that at Taco Bell?

  • OFF TOPIC: DID YOU WATCH BATTLESTAR GALACTICA?

    :)

Ottawa < Vancouver sadly, and I'm in Ottawa.

  • You're working on a movie in Vancouver. I'm from Vancouver. There's always so much filming in Vancouver. Silvercity Metrotown, not a big fan of those theaters. Too many Teenagers. I know exactly where you are in the first bit of the video.

  • yeah, canadians and their french, especially b.c. it's like 95% francaphone there. Are you staying in an igloo and taking public dog sled to work? freeways, haha, better than the "payways" in the states.

  • I see what you did there ;P

  • Pei Weis in the states?

Isn't that where the slow sled dogs end up?

  • I'm excited that you're in Canada and I think you're funny. I'd like to see My Bloody Valentine just for the 3D! It's only playing 2D in my town though, bummmer!

  • you guys made $8,250,000 last night alone. nice!

  • i just saw it at my local cinema, the 3d effects were realy cool i jumped out my skin quick a few times lol. the plot was not good but was ok for a slasher.

  • that movie looks like super mega barbra streisand fun!!! totally gonna watch it this weekend :D

  • WHOA U MADE THAT MOVIE

  • I'm seeing it in L.A. and I'm super excited to have blood and boobs in my face! I met with Lion's Gate to write this movie...apparently I should have pitched the 3D angle.

    -Trav

  • You'll be especially disappointed when you see Todd Farmer's roll in this movie. Just think, that could have been you. Just look for the bald guy, you'll know what i'm talking about when you see it.

  • You must have been reading a cereal box :)

Manyncool french words are found on Canadian Cereal Boxes,Ipersonally like "flucon de mais"

  • haha. Bag of cheetoes actually!

  • Honestly, I had marked it down as a rental, or satellite selection....

    BUT

I'll try to get out and support the work of the fittest lumberjack, I know.

  • yeah man, if you don't see this one in 3D you're totally missin' out.

  • lol,...new french word,....croquant,means crotchy, like sayin' "balls",lol! Hey no wonder you let your beard grow, cause you're in Canada where its cold and lumberjack country! 5 stars Joe, wish i could go see your 3D movie but south of the rio grande, shiverin' on the central plateau!=P

  • Could a French person please add croquant to Forvo?

  • Done

  • Merci!

  • I looked it up, it's in theatres as of yesterday, playing at a theatre near me! I think I'll go see that today because it would help me avoid housework. Hope you win an Oscar! :D And croquant is pronounced cro with lots of phlegm on the "r" and is like crow without the 'w', and quant is prounounced like con except you don't finish the 'n', you just keep your vocals in the position they'd have to be if you WERE going to pronounce the n. So it's like cr[phlegm]o[silent w]co[a hint of n]

  • hehee. you're name (and this comment) is hilarious. ... heh..

  • Thank you! :o) I saw the movie and I have to say the 3D was pretty amazing. Definitely brought a totally new vision to the way we see movies. There was less gore overall than I expected so that was a pleasant surprise for me. The actors did a really good job with what they were given. The plot [REALLY LOUD NOISE] *screams* *runs* *trips over nothing in particular* *gets stabbed* was as you'd expect. If you like the genre you'll like this but you gotta see it in 3D [REALLY LOUD NOISE] *screams*.

  • joooooe!! i'm moving to vancouver this summer :P

that's actually sooo effin awesome that you did MBV i can't wait to see it!!!

  • ahh! Bummer! Too bad you're not here, we could have gone out for Putine and or other Canadian specialty food!

Let me know what you think of the movie. It's crazy sauce. If they gave out an Oscar for most crazy sauce, MBV would win it.

  • All right then. Let's have it in Romania, i'll go watch it 3D.

  • i am totally going to watch this film at the bridge. i believe that theater would do you 3-d artistry justice!

  • Probably wise to leave the kids at home though mcGaffigan. There be boobs in this thar film!!!... he says as a pirate for some reason...

  • My plan is to find some single chick on Valentine, agree that it's a stupid holiday, go see this movie, and then get laid.

I'm just hoping it's not her time of the month so I don't have a bloody Valentine myself.

  • well that sure was graphic! I think you'll like this movie.

  • Go back to Pittsbeard so you can get a lumberjack beard goin' on. Or come here to Australia.

  • are there lumberjacks in australia? Are their beards particularly impressive?

  • Lumberjacks, no. But Google Ned Kelly if you want to see an awesome Australian beard.

  • I went and saw it, and i did have a good time.

  • oh that's awesome. was the theater packed? Thanks for going to see it!

  • yeah, we had to stand in line to get the tickets and then when we finally got in we had to sit in front. And we thought we were early, lol.

  • aww sitting in front is THE WORST! Seriously. I'm sorry about that. I had to sit in the front during the premier, then I went and saw it again yesterday and sat right in the middle, it's so much better when you don't have to sit in the front. :(

  • Yeah, it probably is a lot better towards the middle, but it scared my girl pretty bad anyway, and...I...may have jumped...once...or twice...haha

  • Man, Van, you're off in the super technical end of movie-making. So which inter-ocular standard do you use? PD in centimeters, please.

How come you don't try a YT vid for those who hold on to the Polaroid glasses?

    I'll be a nickel, my two-horse town doesn't gear up for 3D.

    So, here's comin' at yah!

  • Leave my abnormally long pupilary distance out of this sir! I'm quite sensitive about that. :(

  • actually, you pronounce the t if it refers to a feminine noun, otherwise you don't :)

  • I can't think of a moment when I'm not referring to a feminine noun.

  • haha! As a side note, in quebec it's also slang for an erection, so maybe that's why :)

  • haha. no way?! So bags of Crunchy cheetoes are all over canada with the slang word for Boner on them. Oh Canada!, You're such a rascal!

  • I nearly laughed myself unconscious when I read this.

  • Jeepers I wonder if "My Bloody Valentine 3D" will make it to the theaters here in Japan...

  • should be. I saw the japanese version of the poster somewhere.

  • vanawesooomeeeeeeey,, im all the way in bahrain so i cant o.o im sorry

  • bahrain?! you win for being the furthest away from a 3D theatre.

  • Sounds great.

It will probably never reach us here in Australia though. =(

  • I hear it's coming out next month. But I'm not sure how many 3D theaters there are in AU.

  • None in Tasmania (where I am). I'd have to fly to Melbourne.

  • "3X larger in real life than I appear on video", haha! I remember seeing a still picture of you standing next to Natalie/Community Channel. It looked like her whole body would have fit in one of your pants legs.

  • Yeah, she's also 3X tinier in person than she is in video, so, there was a totaly of 6x size differential happening there.

  • Geeze I wish I could come see the movie and meet you man but I'm one frozen province away from where you are. Glad to see you're doing well!

  • ahhh bummer man, i was hoping that you were in B.C. :(

  • Joe, I wish I was coming! I would buy you popcorn!

  • I'd eat that popcorn. Maybe our fingers would touch as we both went for popcorn at the same time. OH MY!

  • They don't have 3D cinemas in my area. I'll see if I can ramble into the city centre. We get the films months afterwards in Europe anyway.

Why were you in Canada? Your folks up there? They say "oot". I wish I could get away with saying words all funny.

  • being able to get away with saying words all funny has always been a goal of mine as well.

We're up in canada shooting another movie. This one is called "The Hole." Another Oscar nominee no doubt about it. :D

  • what software did you use to make the 3D?

  • MS Paint.

  • Excellent. I can use MS Paint too. I bet my skillz are better than your skillz. ;)

But seriously. Was it... 3D S Max? :p

  • haha. No software for this kind of 3D. It's the camera systems that make it all possible.

  • Ah I see. I saw 3D and assumed it was animation :p

    silly me.

  • You?!

YOU were responsible for My Bloody Valentine?!?!

Joe... Joe what have you done?! Now I've got to obey buddy code... and go see this thing. CURSE YOU JOE!! CURSE YOU!!!

  • Don't be so Croquant.

  • I really wish I was in Vancouver, it's too bloody hot here in Australia

  • you may be tempted, because of the heat, to chop off that glorious moustache of yours. Don't do it man. DO NOT DO THAT!
