  • Im so confused about the cichlids

  • Why'd you put an Aulonocara?

  • Nice monos...

  • Please get a background. Nothing worse then a decent looking tank with hoses running behind it. Just use black spray paint (gloss). It will cost you $4. This tank is very overstocked, adult sizes and aggression, and I can guarantee you they are not all together now.

  • Aulonacaras/ Peacocks are not brackish.

  • @blownable Agreed, none of the African Cichlids are brackish. Chromides can live in fresh, brackish and salt. Some central american cichlids like the Mayan can survive in brackish. There are also Tilapia that can do the same, but Peacocks are not one of them. I guess it depends on the salinity in the tank, if it's only 1.005 or less, it may be OK. The owner may only be using aquarium salt, and not sea salt, or no salt at all. Dempseys and Cons tolerate salt pretty good, even Jewel cichlids too.

  • Lmao, if he is using aquarium salt, he doesn't have brackish water. Aquarium salts, except for treating parasitic infections, are a waste of money.

  • what would be some good tank mates for a figure 8 puffer in a 40 gallon tank, right now i have 5 mollies and a silvertip catfish, im not sure what else to get, i would do bumblebee gobys but the catfish would eat them, my tanks set up more like a freshwater style, i really dont have many rocks (actually just one) and a fake stump for fish to hide in, and like 10 plants that makes plenty of hiding places

  • nice tank and lively fish

  • never buy fish unless you have done your REASERCH!

  • wow you gsp is big? how is your tank doing? How many mono's do you think I can put in my 50gl? (with 2 gsp's)

  • Cool fish! Now all you need to do is turn it into saltwater HAHAHA

  • WOW nice i hope i can get my fish tank to look as good as yours. DANG your puffers are huge how long did it take for them grow that big?

  • Woah! This is really cool!

  • nice brackish setup

  • I have a cichlid tank and I thought you couldn't mix other fish with them??? Now i also have a 10 gallon tank that was supose to be for community fish and got two puffers not knowing a thing about them. What the heck is brackish water???

  • beautiful but next time make the video last for a bit longer

  • those are some nice mono sebaes

  • What type of cichlid is tat it looks familiar like some type of african cichlid

I just finished setting up 2 brackish tanks 1 20 gallon and 1 55 gallon and i would really like to be able to keep him in the 55 gallon. what is your SG?

  • nice monos!

  • youtube dot com/watch?v=7J1xN7V1UkI

  • some chiclids are brackish tolerant...though they like much less salt content then those monos and puffers do.

  • how do you have a cichlid in brackish water?

  • Tilapia, Mayan Cichlid, Zebra Tilapia, Flowerhorn Cichlid... The fishes I've mentioned are found in saltwater areas in Singapore. I've seen a flowerhorn cichlid swimming on the coast!
