X TV is a really awesome anime about saving mankind or the world, kind of touching on weather or not we are worth saving since we suck. The song is Professional Murder Music - A Night Like This (Cures Cover). It is so worth renting, but not the Movie, the Series. The movie tried to cram the series and it didn't work.
I didn't say that the movie came out after, I was just trying to say the reason the movie wasn't successful was because there is too much complexity in X to really give you in a single movie. The characterization, plot, and background was just absent in the movie. I watched it first, but I really prefer the series hands down.

Actuaaly,the movie came first (u can even see the difference of the quality).
The movie is made exactly as the manga,and the animation is great,much better then the series I think (but I liked the series plot version more)
