realplayer downloads it, formatfactory gets it to mp3 and onto your ipod - tape with cable in car plug ipod in - turn it up ! just drive and drive and drive!
@mikeb1444 i know, right? this new dance music is so soppy and commercialized. takes 30 minutes on ableton live with some auto-tune and you have a #1 Dance hit.
You may get a #1 hit, but it'll never a #1 banger. I found a remix of this that 5:40 and sounds pretty much the same. I'll upload it for all the headz out there!
@Marmel3000 If your soundcard has an input and an output, buy a cable that goes from the output to the input (phono 3/4 to phono 3/4). download a free recording program like goldwave, then you can record anything you play through your pc.
@Marmel3000 i heard theirs a web site where you can download all the sounds from youtube hmmm sorry dont know the name but try searching for it or somthinnn
@tambian Crackin' story that >> I loved the vibe of the House music when it first impacted the airwaves and this epitomises the magnetism that this music has :) fabulous!
Uhhh I'm only 20 years old, and I loved this song when i first heard it....My grandmother has this on vinyl lmao and she used to put me to sleep with acid house.
@MuzikJunkyAES ... You are right but I look at it as genuine to hear the familiar, Memory-striking, scratches of the genuine vinyl days.... Also if you're high enough, at least for me individually, it appeals to you in a way that makes you ask yourself am I really hearing this or am I filling in the gaps with my imagination based on the natural vibe that old-school gold leaks off on you... "A Future DJ... (Name unreleased cause of how dope it is) you'll see it eventually Keep Droping bombz!
Your vinyl's really messed up, too, huh? I remember way back when that there were scratches everywhere on the B-side of the album, and there was even a skip on it, even though it was brand-new out-of-the-package! Also really, really weird to hear an Alesis HR-16 on an acid track. Peace.
@tambian That great memory indeed! Was way too young for this music (from '77), but the brother of a friend of mine played a lot of Acid and New Beat really loud at home, including tracks as Humanoid, Sound of C, Sharp as a Knife etc. that draw my attention.
Ya, a lotta Trax releases were pressed on non-virgin vinyl (meaning they'd buy up boxes of old records, cheaper than buying new material, grind them up, and use them to press new releases...so they sometimes have bits of label and stuff in them. So the sound quality isn't great...but a lotta stuff would probably never have been pressed if they hadn't cut costs this way.
@neur0mancer1 That´s what make so unique the original sound of those records. The same for the strings sections of the old bollywood tracks: they used english wasted material.
@BadBalenax That's true enough...it's partly the rawness of it that appeals, the sense that it's really pioneering and stuff. But one could still enjoy that aspect without quite so many clicks, crackles, and pops.
Keep in mind that this was a response to marvinerouge's comment around the same time--I was just explaining *why* even brand-new copies sounded old and worn out and scratchy.
I've read in a couple places that the repress is a little better in quality. But I guess traxx never kept masters handy, so I guess they just re-mastered whatever version they had
