  • Nice but Not Underground, which is also recommended for steak tartare.

  • @7855waldo ?

  • @7855waldo - Apology for Streep is offered, if offense taken.

We here in America have a bad habit of making Goddesses out of Mere Impersonators.

"?" - If I'm not mistaken, the meat is "ground" before it is fashioned into a Steak Tartare.

    Don't forget the capers!

Speaking of capers, an apology for Streep...

  • @7855waldo Hi, No offense taken, just didn't understand the point being made, I like my staek well done/ Burnt ( I must be a heathen )

  • @oggy1953 - Better burnt than none at all...

Steak au poivre as you may know is smothered in cracked peppercorns.

@ 20 years ago, after the previous twenty produced $5.00 in salaries and tips, we finally were able to eat out once in a while.

Vaguely remembering what it was, I ordered s.a.p.

When the waitress brought it out from the kitchen, without looking at it, I asked her for a pepper mill!

  • @7855waldo Ha Ha, Don't know much about steak - too damn expensive over here.

  • My dads a driver on the jubilee and for my 9th birthday i got a cab ride from stratford to stanmore and back

  • @Cork428 Great stuff, bet you enjoyed that.

  • what, you can ask the driver if you can ride in the cab! WOW! i want to do that

  • @Astronautical123 NO you 're not supposed to. I was lucky enough to know the driver !!!

  • @oggy1953 This is cool I would like to have a cab ride in the future

  • @Cazkumali You will have to get to know a driver first, then hope he invites you into the cab. They don't just do cab rides { i wish }

  • @oggy1953 What was that sound on 0:13

  • @oggy1953 I believe that was a Central line1992TS train

  • @Cazkumali Correct

  • @oggy1953 I like the 92TS its 1 of my best tube trains on the london underground system

  • Great vid! I don't live anywhere near London so I don't know, but do some of the London underground trains go overground????

  • @benowahoo I'm not sure but i believe more miles are overground than underground. Perhaps it should be re-named the Underoverground LOL

  • @benowahoo 58% of underground track is actually overground - that's 146 of 253 miles.

  • AWESOME

  • Just try to keep the camrea on the tracks

  • @xfire12346 Thanks, Not easy when your standing and the trains rolling.

  • I recognise this as the Central line with parts leaving White City and East Acton area, can't miss the A40/M40 flyover which I used to know so well when living in that part of London and now in taxis Wembley and Euston

  • was the driver driving manually or automatically?

  • @LondonTeen25 Manually my friend

  • @oggy1953 ahh cool. surprising however, usually all driver operate the central line trains automatically lol

  • @oggy1953 Correct, I should have made this a Quiz.

  • Love shots from the cab! I did wonder if I could use some of the footage to help market a map I've produced called 'tubular fells'. I'm producing a short presentation combining shots of trains in the Lake District with images from the London underground. The map, for your information shows Alfred Wainwright's 214 fells in the form of a topological, Harry Beck rendition. If I use the footage I'm sure I can give you a map as thanks. Anyway, whatever you think thanks anyway! Peter

  • @fellrunning Sure, help yourself, pleased to be of assistance.

  • I recongise the first two clips but were was the third clip filmed.

(Private Message me if you need to protect the drivers identity)

    5/5

  • Ahh yes thinking about it does look like East Acton.

  • thanks we youst to ride the undergrund to wach wales v england rugby....lol thanks alot......

  • Pleasure

  • dose the rain efect the electic power??

  • Not normaly unless very heavy, but it does affect brakeing

  • Man your lucky, i've always wanted to be in an underground train :/

  • i sure was, it was one of the highlights of my life. Wish i had been a driver.

  • Why dont you apply? Or are you in another Career you love?

  • Too old now, plus on the long term sick, they wouldnt take me. Cheers anyway

  • Well Theres always Rail Simulator ^^

  • how do u get to go in the cab?

  • I know the driver

  • is driving a train harder than it looks?

  • I am not a driver, it seems quite simple once you know how, BUT you must be alert. On auto it brakes for itself. Thanks for looking

  • @AstroChickenII yea alot harder

  • A C Stock?

  • Who knows, i just rode in it..

  • 1992

  • Yeah i knew that much, thanks

  • Pretty awesome vid, how did you get up front?

  • I Know the driver.

  • Ah right, I'm hoping to be a tube driver some day. Was he driving it manually or was it in ATO mode?

  • Most of the time manualy, but in the tunnels ATO as instructed. Good luck with being a driver, i have to say that this was one of the most thrilling days i can remember. Wish i was young enough to apply !

  • Sweet. I've been in the cab of a Bakerloo Line train from Elephant and Castle to Oxford Circus, I was with an instructor. I have also driven a D stock train in Upminster depot when I was there with my grandad and his mate taking it for a test run, I got to take the control, it was awesome, thanks for the good luck, I am hoping to work on the Central Line.

  • best

  • Thanks

  • try put camera somwere so it can stay still

  • Easier said than done, didnt want to push my luck, i'll try to if i am lucky enough again
