The Mayan calendar is nothing else than a calendar. What do you do when a page of our calendar is over? Turn it into the end of it all? No, you just turn to the next page, no more. The Mayan did not possess prediction power. If they did they would have foreseen the end of their civilization which came long before the end of their calendar.

For me feeding that starving child & doing what I can to address at least some of the terrible issues of our time IS one of the most "positive" things we can do.
