Nobody said that there was a "gay gene". Sexuality may be influenced by multiple genes or/and most likely hormonal conditions of the womb. On a different topic, yes there are male and females, but their are also people with both sets genitals. Also god didn't create anything because he's not real : )
I work in Taiwan - I cannot under any circumstances ever tell my colleagues that I am gay. As a teacher, I would, without a shadow of doubt, be fired immediately. There are no rights protecting gays and lesbians in Taiwan, and it is quite common for us to be persecuted.
We're making progress. Most of it is the result of companies realizing that to be competitive in the war for talent they need to create a workspace in which people feel safe and valued. Congress might well pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) this year which would bar discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (hopefully) in employment.
this is already politics and social engeneering ...

Awesome video - thanks for uploading.

Thank you. We're making great progress. Give it some time and the glasses and hairstyles will return.

We'll keep working together so that these sad stories of oppression come from fewer and fewer places in the world.
