Great stuff- Buddy Rogers was indeed the biggest name in Pro Wrestling at one time. He owned a big piece of the action with Capital Wrestling / Vince Sr. in the late 50's early 60's. They left on bad terms, hence Buddy dropping the belt to Bruno, and Buddy retiring soon thereafter. Buddy also had a heart condition, which was surprising for a fine conditioned guy in his young 40's. Vince Sr. tried to lure Buddy back in the 60's for a return series with Bruno, but no dice.

The Albano/Rogers feud was well built-up and helped promote the Snuka/Muraco matches even more. I love the way Lou just sat there speechless in the interview. You never saw that with anyone else.

Buddy Rogers ONe of the Greatest....First ever man to hold the WWF World Title...He invinted the figure 4 leg lock & the atomic drop..Ric flair's Gimmick is made from Rogers The Hair The STrut the Robes the figure4 ETC so is Ric Better than Rogers or Rogers better than Rick or does it matter since ric is Rogers & Rogers is Ric....???

This was the first talk show on the WWF ,IF I can remmeber.Buddy Rodgers health started to fail him.The next show,or segment that replaced Buddy was Victory Magazine who also had guests each week.The last guest they had was Roddy Piper who had just arrived!He did what Piper does best and Squashed the show ,and the rest is history!! (Pipers Pit!!)
