Vitali beating Briggs was no major accomplishment. Vitali beating Solis,Gomez and getting knocked out by Lewis was not good either. How many all time greats did Vitali defeat? Answer,none.

He knows better with who fought and against whom he felt had no chance. Vitali Klitschko never been down, even Lewis couldn't gived him a knockdown. First loss was vs Chris Byrd in '00, but after 9th rds,Vitali was in advantage on all three score cards (88-83,89-82,88-83). Fight stopped due to a Klitschko shoulder injury. Byrd would never have beaten Vitali. His second loss was in that war vs Lewis in '03 and,also,all three judges gived 58-56 for Vitali after 6 rds. Fight stopped due to a Klitschko cut

Now that you mention Sam Peter known as The Nigerian Nightmare,he's,probably,a sweet dream for most of his opponents because he's a second hand boxer. Anyway...Tomasz Adamek who's The Ring cruiserweight champion was to wick for Vitali. Even Chris Arreola who is a very talented fighter and an possible future world champion was to small for Vitali, Kirk Johnson,a big hope...no chanse. And others...

Vitali quit against Chris Byrd and was rocked by Corrie Sanders who was half the puncher that Tyson was. I think Holyfield wins a MD over Vitali and Tyson destroys his ribs and cuts him up winning a late TKO.

How can you say that he looked great ? Boxing fans all around the world demanded a rematch but Lennox would rather retire.
