Not knocking George H....Love his guitar playing...but Paul Mcartney is the best guitarist in the band...maybe the best drummer as well ( back in the USSR, Dear Prudence )...Paul was a built-in studio band for those guys...

@4everClassicrock I have just looked at your page, the song you have "Champagne Supernova" is a quality song....I used to work in Aviation in the U.K and we had Oasis fly into the airport, I was an instructor at (Leeds Bradford International).....When the (private) aircraft was on final approach the captain/co pilot should call over the radio with the figures we need, instead Liam Gallagher came over the radio and sang the first three lines of the song...

A few of us were sat in the office when the call came over the ground to air radio, we all sat there in amazed silence for about 30 seconds before getting up and running outside like kids on christmas morning haha....I am from the U.K yes, a city in the north of the country called Leeds which is in Yorkshire, I don't live in the U.K any more though, I live in Cyprus these days.....

listen carefully, when it says "if you drive a car" and when it says "if you get too cold" and "if you take a walk" after every one of those verses they sing out the name "Paul" but faintly so it sounds like they're singing an ahhhh but in The Last testament of George Harrison, he says they sing Paul mourning over Paul's death. don't just say this is stupid but if you watch the movie it makes sense-after all its a documentary and also don't just brush this comment of as silly or stupid.

@OpenthePresentNow It was what vividDC meant by truth that I didn't get. For me truth is in the absolute sense, an experience of reality, which can be attained within ourselves. I believe George had plenty of that experience as his songs reflect. If that feeling was more widespread wars and injustice would rapidly end.
(aswell as unfair taxes!)
But truth in the form of facts and events, that is something else. I'll check it out . Thanks for your input.
