I liked how they combined this with star wars ^-^ Star Wars = 1977 + 1980s muppets = too cool of an episode. Especially fonzie bear and gonzo as characters. I believe piggy was princess Lia in this? Forgot.

gonzo = star wars fan lol he has the original millenium falcon toy in this lol? when I was little I never seen live tv muppets but I always grew up with the cartoon, which touched my heart, and I have seen every episode! I also then felt so happy when the had Muppets Tonight and Saturday Muppets etc. I always loved those 2 old guys who told funny jokes in the balcany. They cracked me up big time! I never saw Nanny's face.... why is that? lol.

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE EPISODE!! When I was I had a VHS of this episode and watched it all the time. I didn't understand the Star Wars or Star trek references back then but I understood the Jetsons!

WAIT!! are you guys sure? because I had a VHS tape of Beauty and the Scnoze and this episode. If they can release episodes on VHS surely they could release them on DVD. ANd I know it was a ourchased tape and not something that had been recorded because I remember the cover of it distinctly.

really? a lot of the black and white footage they use looks like public domain footage. But yeah I could see big franchises like Star Wars sueing over copyright infringement. all that trouble over a few little clips? that is just ridiculous.

i don't see the star wars franchise suing over this especially since jim henson was so instrumental in the making of the first 3 star wars films.

No they aren't but the reason these can't be released on DVD is because of the copyright issues. They use a lot of Star Wars clips so I was just using it as an example.

zippy: Henson Productions and Lucas Films are friends, because George Lucas hired friend Jim Henson to create a lot of the characters and atmosphere of the first three Star Wars films!
