Amazing how groups like Odin and London were forgotten by the end of the eighties and early ninties and never did really did get anywhere but bands like Megadeth and Metallica still continued on and are still on top to this day,too much partying led to the hair band eras down fall it ran its course and just fizzled out,but thrash carried on some how.

There was this goofball band manager? with a gold chain and his disco-like shirt unbuttoned all the while holding/flashing a bunch of $ bills spread out like a deck of cards. Showing the people in the audience. One of the most retarded things I've ever seen and many others were laughing at this buffoon. Does anyone know who this guy was? he worked for the band I know that.

Dave Mustaine is an absolute tool and Dave Ellefson is a saint to have put up with him but my god, they're a fucking amazing band. I grew up on these guys and I still get chills when I hear their songs, especially this one. This was for Burton and you can feel it.

I went to a n Iron Maiden/ Guns 'n Roses concert in '88. Axl Rose got Laringitis before the show, and they brought in Megadeth to open for Iron Maiden. It is still the greatest show I've ever seen.

@RFB480 In 2002...14 years after this interview...Dave was in an emergency room waiting for his kidney stone to be removed.He fell asleep with his arm (I forget which one)hanging over the back of a chair.The weight of his arm compressed a nerve that runs through the upper arm into the forearm,leaving his arm paralyzed enough so that he could not play guitar anymore.However,with physical therapy he regained full use of it.

I went to a n Iron Maiden/ Guns 'n Roses concert in '88. Axl Rose got Laringitis before the show, and they brought in Megadeth to open for Iron Maiden. It is still the greatest show I've ever seen.
