I found that the one I have is actualy a " Copy " of a Thunder Tiger and not with thier permission I hear which is going to make parts a challenge to say the least.

Would be great if they invented an RC with alarm sound / indicator to let you know when battery % is low. And longer flight times than 10min for battery powered RC.

Is this the model SE V2 with the top motor mount or the old one with the bottom mount? I have finished the build on the new version ( top mount) and am about to send it to Jerry Shaw for programing and was just wondering if I can expect this kind of performance out of mine, minus your expert pilot ability of course. @sparky0308 no this is the pro kit but i have tried the v2 and it handels very simular the v2 is more for the "sport flyer" where the pro is more for "hard 3D"

Nice flight and filming. That JR 11X radio is a beast. Too bad it's not part of the next generation of radios with real-time telemetry that will warn of low on-board battery. You wouldn't have crashed due to low battery -- telemetry is a must have these days!

I do own an Align trex 450 but It is too small and so I am getting the EXI 500 carbon next month (hopefully they are still on sale and in stock) so I need alot more batteries. I have made 2 battery orders from you guys in the last 3 months and still don't have enough LOL!

the only thing that sucks about getting batteries is that they are out of stock alot of the time.

@PC9JEFF we try to stock our popular sizes but they really do go quikly your gunna love the Exi 500 i really liked it when i saw it yesterday. as well for you guys that have the exi 450 pro i got the 3D linkage sizes b/c stock seemed to be too long it had to much positive pitch all i did was trim the rods about 1.5mm on the servo linkages. EASY FIX

Welcome aboard BT2, Hope you can do a programming vid on that EXI 500 soon. I would be very interested in the pitch,throttle curves and gyro set up with digital servos and the inexpensive stuff -that is the way I am going to set mine up. My Trex has all of the expensive hardware on it and I am finding out that expensive isn't always the best anymore! I love this automatic update feature on you tube now!

@XHELIBIGT Yeah, you have that new one and it looks just awesome. I have been running Futaba for many years and cannot go to JR now, it would be toooooo expensive to change everything over now. I am using a Futaba 9cap for my high end radio currently. I also have an 8U Super, 7CAP and a couple of smaller fut radios laying around. My 9cap is Very easy to program but doesnt have the telemetry that these newer ones have. Programming is pretty much straight forward for most radios though.

We are all in same business mate. and when we do reviews of new products, a crash due to our faults doesn't show our fault to viewers, it sounds like Product fault to viewers. hope you understand what I meant right. :) it was very soft and sweet flying. Normally when people ask me where to get a good 450 heli, I tell them Xheli and mostly are Erazors or EXIs :) do you carry CopterX helis too?

@PC9JEFF well, only 6 flights LOL? man you will get there to crash. Remember TREX Helis, no matter electric or nitro, need a very good thorough check after each 10 or 20 flights. They love to loose the screws in them great looking bodies and metal heads :D

my exact setup is EXI pro belt driven kit, 3 T PRO MG90 servos,Detrum GY48V HH Headklock Professional Gyro, sky lipo 2200 30c 11.1v. stock carbon blades, ECEED RC ALPHA 400 12T pinion. all these great products are on x heli.com. the really work great no BS. i was really impressed with how great that gyro holds. and the servos center great.

@XHELIBIGT Geeze, yeah, programming, and 3D flying with some of Nitroplanes' larger extras and stuff etc. I think the best thing for Nitroplanes and Xheli should continue to do is HONEST reviews. Some guys say honest reviews but are nothing better than Pete at well, you know where. Showing crashes in your videos will not steer customers away from your products, it just shows that we are all human and make the occasional mistake.
