My basis for my claim is the renewable of Blackwaters contract last April for 1 year (at the estimated cost of 1 Billion dollars...up from 700k in 2003)....Henry Waxman has called for the cancellation of the contract as have many others. Obama could have easily supported this given the evidence against Blackwater. Instead he will not address it. Obama did give a fantastic speech last night, but has everyone forgotten this is an election year? Every four years people rally around high minded rhetoric, but that rhetoric seldom translates into substantive policy.
