  • I think it's safe to say The Maine has finally found themselves. You guys have to realize, they're going to grow up and have families one day. I can't remember who but they said they have finally found their mature sound.

There is not going to be any more songs similiar to the ones off their old album. Some Days and Like We Did is as probably as close as they'll get. If you're a true fan, you'll stick with them through think and thin.

But if you don't.. Well, there's not much I can say.

  • Thank you. :)

  • Incredible <3

  • This isn't The Maine. This is just John O Callaghan.

  • can someone send me names of some of their other new stuff I'm having trouble finding anything but the old thanks

  • @Angelofrainbows101 they have a new song off their new album called Some Daysthat they posted on their Youtube page. Their album releases December 6th in stores. Another song is called Dont Give Up On Us.

  • 1:40<3

  • Thank you <3 Is there any chance you could upload the pages as well? :(

  • Beauty comes from The Maine <3

  • They did it again. Fuck me, this is good.

  • oh god, i cried.

  • 0:22 garrett being pyschic lol

and thank you so muchh for this

  • i know that theyre getting older and that calls for a different sound but i miss their old stuff. a lot. please guys if you somehow see this, please..just write maybe one more song with your old sound..just one..

  • @VolleyyballPlayya Let them be who they wanna be, if they would want to write a song that sounded like their old stuff, they would. :)

  • @VolleyyballPlayya a lot of people dont realise that just like everyone else bands grow and mature and change, and their songs reflect that. Their music has developed with them and thats very important for a band, if you want to listen to song thats like their old stuff, listen to their old stuff.

  • @VolleyyballPlayya and @chriscampesinos John has said in recent interviews, the band will never come out with anything like the way we talk again. :/

  • @VolleyyballPlayya how about no.

  • such a beautiful song <3

  • okay i have been following The Maine for years and this is how the band is progressing...........................?

  • @TheMaine17 dude, its just John that wrote this song and not The Maine. John released this with his book "Exaltation".

anyway, if you have the Black and White book, it came with a DVD which explains everything about their new album and how they write their music from now on, its hard for me to explain it myself, you have to watch the DVD!!!! :) hope that explained abit about their "progression".

  • @JohnnyBearJon i know that it was john that wrote and released it but john was the backbone of the band when it came to the making of black and white, actually it was him and jared but still, and i did watch the making of black and white i bought the deluxe version of the album at midnight when it came out :),did you know that their label actually wrote a lot of their lyrics in black and white? black and white wasnt too drastic of a change but in darkness and in light was,and now this?

  • @TheMaine17 hmm, i did not know about the label thing :/ i wasn't really too fussed about Black and White and i really do prefer the EP's and Can't Stop Won't Stop much better. oh well.

  • @TheMaine17 Its a beautiful song. I've known them for almost 4 years.

  • lyrics?

  • AH FINALLY, I have been looking for this forever :D thank you so mucho x

  • this is absolutely beautiful.

  • thank you so much!

  • @loverslostinspacebw You're welcome! :)
