That solar eruption is one of the most used clips for all documentaries...and guess what....there is no comet impact...so, someone decide to add a comet, maybe even NASA added it to scare people as per usual......move along people, nothing to see here!
This video is FAKE. It was already proven. The original DID NOT have a tail. NASA took the vid down and when asked by the scientific community to put it back up it had a tail. Why would NASA add a tail????
There are great distances involved and great temperatures. Also brightness. They probably use different filters and settings on their recording equipment. Some filters let a small range of the light spectrum to pass through so the image would be clear. In some of the footage, a different telescope was used that was filtering out the kind of light reflected by the comet's tail. No one is pointing a camera at the sun and shooting a video that can be later "faked".

I dont think the Asteroid collided with the Sun. The Sun is pretty damn hot, burning millions of degrees Kelvin at the surface alone. The Comet likely vaporized as it got close, and the "explosion" is a coincidental Coronal Ejection. If this was taken in and uploaded in May of 2011, in June of 2011 the Sun was pretty active, a lot of MCE's (mass Coronal Ejections).
@Keys879 lol the suns core is 15k Kelvins, which is the energy needed for fusion. while the surface is 6k kelvins. the comet definitely didn't vaporize and there is surely connection with the cme and the collision.

Its a fact and you can tell that CME happened befor the comet hit. I read about it on SOHO website. They said it was too far away to interfere with the magnetic field to cause that.
I know it was in the magnetic field but I am stating what they are saying on the SOHO sight. Im sure they would love nothing more than a comet to cause that. Bummer jusr missed in timing by a little...

It's already been proven that it's a doctored photo. Nasa added the tail on after there was an uproar after nasa took the vid down. Why would nasa add a tail to the object? If you do the mathematical equations you'll find that the object is the size of the earth. Hmmmm

@georgiafbi It is real. Coronal mass ejection happen all the time, and comets come and go, some of them fall towards the Sun.
You're dismissing this video just because you think that correlation implies causality. Comets do not cause CMEs. You're making a huge fallacy right there.

@endimion17 you need to look into James McCanney's work if you believe that. He's proven that comets are plasma based, not dirty snowballs. The Plasma Discharge Comet Model jmccanney science . com. Been look into his work for 4 months now, he has a better understanding than the idiots NASA.

I dont think the Asteroid collided with the Sun. The Sun is pretty damn hot, burning millions of degrees Kelvin at the surface alone. The Comet likely vaporized as it got close, and the "explosion" is a coincidental Coronal Ejection. If this was taken in and uploaded in May of 2011, in June of 2011 the Sun was pretty active, a lot of MCE's (mass Coronal Ejections).

@Keys879 lol the suns core is 15k Kelvins, which is the energy needed for fusion. while the surface is 6k kelvins. the comet definitely didn't vaporize and there is surely connection with the cme and the collision.
