slow boat the best is a spencer Two Cats with a tower, bridge curtians, loaded down and 6 persons on board with a crusing speed of 40 knots 46 miles an hour and top speed of 48 knots 55mph. Love spencers awsome boat but you have to excpect hate mail from those who crush your speed.
That boat is cruising easy.It is very nice.It will probably top out faster.
We had a 70 foot cold molded one in here a few years ago that had top speed of 52 knots.Power in her was 2 souped up 1500hp diesels.Only burned a little over 100 gallons an hour.Not bad at that speed.Boat stuck so far out in marina that it kept getting ran into so it was sold and a 45 footer ordered from same company.
