    Hi Gamerboy,

    The distributive needed only to be used if you had an addition inside the parenthesis.

    Example:

    a · ( b + c ) = ( a + b ) · ( a + c )

    In this video's exercise you could use the associative property:

    a · ( b · c ) = ( a · b ) · c

  • um...shouldnt one of the radicals be a perfect square? when you broke down 42, you used 21 times 2....neither of those are perfect squares?
