Do you ever let your Basset in the house? mIne only has to go outside if he wants too. He is one of the family we take him everywhere with us. Looks like your dog wants you to pet him when he keeps following you around.

Bassets are the most gentel dogs you ever want to meet!!! I've had one all my life! My mom's freind brings her Dachunds over all the time, My Basset (daisy!) Love them she tries to pick them up and carry them, Daisy pretends to be a mom! Aww! My experence with Bassets is that they are pack anamals and you become their "family" and they protect you, and other pets in the home with their lifes, plus they are full of personality!
