What a great song. I remember playing the album again and again and again. Where do I ahve it by the way? And - how could Liquido happen to this great band?
In retrospect, any retard who thought death metal was gonna die out and that shitty pop was going to take over was, uh, retarded. I mean you, augustopalma. It's been fifteen years, and death metal hasn't gone anywhere. Pyogenesis's decision to become incredibly gay wasn't vindicated at all.
It's fine if you want to deliberately maintain a broadness of mind that verges on the infinite, but to pretend that there's any virtue in appreciating this nonsense is pathetic.
no matter what any of the newer pyogenesis fans have to say, the musical complexity went from genius in the early era to generic pop punk chords, the only way i can describe them now is this...symbol of disgrace
i recall back in 1996 i used to hate this song so much and this strange change of direction. But now when i've got much older and after all the years passed by, i understand that even "pop-sellout" Pyogenesis will top every band MTV is showng these days.
Moreso, Ignis Creatio was nothing special back in the day: you got Pan.Thy.Monium, Therion, Dissection, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost or Katatonia at their peak back then, so many of us old metalheads with extreme + varied tastes welcomed the Waves of Erotasia and Sweet X-Rated Nothings changes for the good. Death Metal was, er, dead, by 1995 and Pyogenesis could never challenge or top bands like Morgoth or Grave. So they embraced "avantgardisms" and retro culture. And you want to hang 'em.
I dunno man, they kinda lost me after 'Twin Ale Blood'. 'Waves...' and 'Sweet...' were still firmly rooted in metal, different as they were. (Great albums though) But this?? I really think they should have changed the name of the band.
FYI it isn't pop, more like alternative/indie rock, trying to emulate the Manchester sound, probably.
I've been keeping an interest on Pyogenesis since the day I bought the 7'' (back in 1994), and there's nothing more commonplace, vulgar and clichéd that people bringing them down for their "radical" change.
Get over with it. I've been hearing this old lady complains since 1997 or so. Ferrchrissakes, don't like it so WHY are you here watching it? Is it because you need to troll? Pathetic.
One of the worst sell-out jobs ever. Yes, I love their Ignis release. Been a fan since day one, but they lost me with Sweet X. This band isn't even good at what they sold out to be.
God I almost forget how much I love this band! I first heard them on one of those Nuclear Blast compilation samplers... I forget which song but I tried out Sweet x-rated nothings and they get better and better whith each release. how come no songs from

I'm still not sure what exactly "space bread" is, but I guarantee 100% that Nasty Natalie could convince me to try some.

This song is an anthem!!!
only for people with wide and select musical taste
i admire them they were a band in constant change, thats harder than always keep playing the same style!
