I applaud your enthusiastic play-acting......but uhhhh......there are some pretty serious D&D'rs out there that kinda think this mocks their efforts to create a spooky and intensely exciting game. To all those SERIOUS D&D'rs out there.......KEEP ROLLIN' BABY!
This was a pretty poor show, really, but theres one moment there in this segment where the DM is alone, packing the game up after the players have gone that speaks to the gaming spirit.
i hit the gym roughly 10 times a week, ive gone through the court system for selling drugs, i read philosophy and i went through a very in depth religious phase, i also am a talented writer and artist. dungeons and dragons is not a matter of stereo types its a very life altering experience and an amazing thing. the game has definately been one of the more amazing social aspects of my life.
Funny video. I think the only thing I would have done differently, is have Darryl becoming the next DM. Can you say, total party wipe on a regular bases?
I think that the guys girlfriend is jerk. I mean she can't let him play D and D. My girlfriend doesn't care. I have not told her yet but thats because I never got a chance but she knows I'm into stuff like that. Anyways great video. I'm glad to have documentaries like this!
Mine knows I play. She doesn't care. She doesn't understand it, and only rarely plays. When she does, she normally a rogue/assassin that likes pretty things.

This was great. As a past AD&D player myself, the table setting, the map on the wall, the inane jokes and real life interruptions, were very reminiscent of those days. Especially that final scene after the credits. Seemed like an actual caption from an actual session. I can't stop smiling. Makes me want to break my books out of storage and find a group. Ahh well, have fun, and I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with next. Again, great job!
And I can't wait for the 2nd movie. This group is funny. I wish I had a group.
Tell Jered I agree with him. Psionics isn't broken. everyone things they have unlimited Power Points and can kill Great Wyrm Red Dragons in one hit with the power "Mind Trust." That isn't try. You can only spend so much at each level.
Monty is funny as heck, but for sheer in joke potential nothing can beat Princess Bride.
