Any developer says that he maxed out a console , he's simply out of ideas . Also , Ubisoft didn't state that they will max out Xbox 360 , they said that they want to EXPLOIT Xbox 360 power .

Cryengine 3 is a watered down version Cryengine 2 for the consoles. Cryengine 2 is still being used for PC.

Focusing development onto a single/ similar (xbox 360/ pc) architecture allows for the most productive use of resources. instead of making development sacrifices to fully utiilze the unique architecture in the different systems.

EA and Infinity Ward says they've maxed out the 360. That means it could easily be ported to PS3 and PC. Easier for the PC as there is no hardware limitations there.

well i guess i could see how infinity ward could've maxed out the 360, Modern Warfare 2 looks crazy good, but i don't think ea maxed it out, nothing in any of their games looks good enough to 'max out' the 360 i don't think. but still, there will always be new ways to utilize the hardware. doesn't matter, it's not a simple process to port the game from 360/ pc to the ps3. i didn't mean any one system is more powerful then the other, just that they are VERY different development environments....

Well, considering Crytek is an EA studio i would believe them in what they're saying.

Have you played Crysis? It's insane graphics.

however as of now crysis is not on 360, so ea can't say they've 'maxed out' the 360.... ubisoft has come closer to doing that then ea has, but they're not stupid enough to make such a rediculous statement.

Cry engine 3 is on 360.. Which is better than Cry Engine 2 that Crysis was on.

Also , Crytek said that they maxed out PS3 . Anyway , I don't believe in those lazy developers who say such things , a developer I remember ( famous one ) response on those developers by saying : They are out of ideas .

Game is looking good Ubi. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I only hope my Xbox360 won't scratch this one what did happen to Double Agent :( 4 free replacement Xbox360's further I'm not having these problems now.

I also didn't like that I had to send 15 euros to get it replaced. A disk costs nearly nothing (few cents) and better support would be appreciated if it comes to this matter. Like... a free replacement disk. So you can guess I never played Double Agent any more.
