I haven't heard this band before (I will certainly want to hear more of their stuff now), but I like Damien Rice. This is great quality stuff, flowing over with atmosphere and emotion. It isn't the crap I will have to hear on the mainstream media. What can be better? I love it.

@Preposterown1 You are so damn right! It is also because of all these fans and market demands that the world of "arts" is full of crap. Damien Rice is, most of all, part of the true and great artists, not of the show business slaves. And I find it great that he is having fun and trying different stuff with other artists. It is part of artistic growth too. Well, Lamb were a great choice to work with. I love them as much as I love Damien's work.

I hate seeing people demanding new albums from him. You all mad cos Damien isn't just churning out albums to keep you sated.

Clearly he's doing his own thing, working with other artists etc. until he comes up with some new stuff himself (or if he even wants to)

Rushing his album is why O is way better than 9. 9 got rushed out, O was on his terms and had mostly better songs.

@Preposterown1 I don't know. To say the songs from O were "mostly better" is an opinion, your opinion. I like both albums, they were both different parts of his life thus the difference in music. Also I feel that us as his fans can't make him put out an album. He will always do it on his own terms.

@damiensongs Lamb is Andy Barlow + Lou Rhodes... they were well known in the music scene a few years ago (check their song Gabriel, I'm sure you've heard it) but they haven't been releasing music for 8 years, I think... during the band's hiatus, both have been working on other projects (Andy Barlow teamed up with Carrie Tree and their band, "Luna Seeds", also recorded a version of this song with Damien - check my channel) this new album comes after they toured together in 2009 and 2010... ;)

Lamb might as well be the reason Damien got into singing and i don't mean to upset any Damien fans by saying it. It's just that lamb were, at their time, one of a kind in Irish music and they left a deep mark in pretty much any young Irish musician's heart. And I've met quite a few.
