Well, you can think of this version and the acoustic in two ways--this version makes me feel more like the lyrics are pertaining to a sort of good riddance while the acoustic version is more of a mournful feeling. Either way, this song gives me some nostalgia.

acoustics so tired and played out sappy. this version's intense. besides, the acoustic's all depressed, and i don't think that's quite what justin meant when he wrote it. like it's more about moving on that getting all caught up in the past, which is how the acoustic made it sound.

It means that you have the heart to understand the song for it's meaning and love it for that, not for up-beat music.

You (CephalidLife) might need the guitars and loud music to enjoy a song, but for most of us we just need the lyrics in order for it to speak to us.
