The reason the Weeping Angels were snapping their victim's necks in The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone is because they had no need to feed on their victim's. They already were feeding on the radiation from the crashed ship.

Besides they're supposed to be different and i gotta say i like Karen Gillan too...she's really gorgeous.

@227060 Well, Matt Smith says in one of the new episodes about how snapping people's necks isn't how the angels usually roll. He goes on to say that they must need bodies for something, but that part is not explained thoroughly.

If they needed energy from the ship why didn't they just send them back in time and feed off that as well. What I also didn't understand is how all those \weeping Angels ended up there in the caves in the first place. @gibbom8dman8 I mean I get that Moffat is capitalising upon a really popular monster of his and thus for the story he has created to function properly they can't do that but a single line of explanation like, "they r so drained o energy they can't even transport ppl back in time anymore" would suffice. NOt to mention the fact that in Blink it was stated they can't control thier stone forms if any1 is looking at them they freeze involuntarily.

Out of all the villains/monsters in Doctor Who, the Weeping Angels freak me out the most.

Having seen the end of time the final episode of david tennant, who thinks the weeping angels are in fact time lords, watch how the Doctors protector is stood when Rasillon comes to earth, look familiar? who knows? but still the scariest dr who episode ever, my 5 year old loves to play "Blink" over and over again!!!
