Stuyvesant Town - Stuck "Door Open Too Long Sound" on Elevator

Has it been fixed? Could you do another one like this one but going down in the one making the noise and going up in the other one, just to hear the sound? I just thought I would ask.

Stuyvesant Town has sunk to a new low. "... but last night I saw something which shocked even me, a jaded lifetime old New Yorker. I was walking up the stairs to my third floor apartment and I saw an obviously drunken college kid TAKING A DUMP in the stairwell. I did a double take. The clearly inebriated young man just looked at me and said, "Hey when ya gotta go ya gotta go." Thanks Tishman-Speyer for bringing such high class tenants into what USED to be a wonderful place to live.

Looks a nice place to live, exept for the obvious fault on the elevator - improper maintanence.

Entitle this vt. with the name of the manufacturer of the elevator or the name of the maintanence service provider and see if there is much support for their fixing the problem.

Very interesting to see aerial photos of the Stuyesant Town site; the place looks like it was very sought after when newly built -is is still?
