I stopped watching crocodile hunter because i didnt want to cry when i saw his face and heard his voice. He died on the day i started a new year in school, i drew a picture of him in my book in his green carque shorts and top. I miss him, i wish i coulda seen him just once. I hate all the sick jokes made about him, he was doing a show for his daughter, and a ray pierced his heart, it felt like i had been pierced in my heart that day, my idle and hero was gone for doing what he loved <3
Steve was a great a great man and a power for the animals. I had the pleasure of being with him on more than one occasion and talking for some time. Steve you were a friend and you will be missed, your torch has been passed and will not flicker, Rest well my friend.
Bindi's speech made me cry. It was really very moving. She is such a brave little girl and clearly thought the world of her Daddy. Steve was such an inspirational man who will be never be forgotten. R.I.P Steve Irwin x
Personally I think that little girl has enough to deal with without being scripted and shoved on a stage in front of hundreds of people like a performing seal.
At 8 years old it's not easy to grieve outwardly. As a mother I would have been stood right next to her...giving her the support an 8 year old needs at this time. And if Terri is not ready to publicly get up on stage and talk about steve? Why the hell should she imagine her daughter is any more ready??
You OBVIOUSLY have no idea what you are talking about....maybe if you followed the family more closely, you would know that it was her choice to go on that stage and Terri made damn sure it was something she was ok with. Terri herself said in an interview that Bindi wanted to do this for her Daddy. Did it look like the girl wasn't ready? I don't think so.
