@BabyCharmander I assume you're referring to the Emperor's son?

As for Kino, no. Some characters are optional, some are plot-obligated to join you, like Kino and Arin.

And seeing as he lasted longer in that fight than EVERYONE ELSE IN THE PARTY, I'd say he's probably not a sissy.

@DrunkFoxProductions Yeah, that plot point came up really quick. Oo; I hope the guy can smooth out the plot a little for the finished game.

And he LOOKS like a sissy, like most elves. :B He's good in battle, yeah, but he was kindof wussing out with the maze.

@BabyCharmander It actually was mentioned earlier, when they got past the guards (the assassination plot). I honestly can't think of a point where it would have been appropriate to bring up that information before then, but I could be wrong. I do hope that the option to learn more about that particular bit of backstory comes up later in the full game, though.
