Pull stations that are conventional (like yours) has no polarity to them. Just hook them up to the control panel or within a circuit (just as you would a light switch) and you're good to go. Just pull it and you've closed (completed) the circuit.
I think hes trying to understand how they work.. Yes a pull station has either a normally closed or normally open switch (dependent of the application) when the pull station is "activated" the position changes tripping the alarm.

doesn't pull stations just have 2 connections and open the circuit when it is pulled.

you don't need + and -, you just randomly pick one. it is for smokes, strobes and alarms that you need the polarity.
