I am an american. I like to play World of Wacraft. Sometimes Russians will join my guild. Everytime we need everyone's help to kill a boss, the Russians always show up drunk. So we just won't allow Russians in our guild anymore.

"Russiafobia".. There has been problems in the schools. When Russian kids showed up, American kids bugged them about being foreigners.. American kids treated them like outsiders.. Good grief ... No we do not hate Russians. Would try to comment more on this but have no idea what he was saying, so I don't know why he feels hated. I do hope it has gotten better for him though.
Try not to group all Americans into one big hate filled pot, do to the comments of a few. There will never be a shortage of people spewing hatred towards others, regardless the country you are from. Those types seem to be able to yell louder than most, so their negative words are heard easier.

I grew up with neighbors from Russia, and I have an aunt from Russia.
Every Russian I have known has been very nice,(not just Russians, other Slavs too).
I was born in the 90's, so I was never alive in the cold war, and I have never seen anything in the media telling me to hate Russians.
I'm American and I love Russians and Russia.
Russia has contributed much to the world with their many great authors, like Tolstoy and Dostoevsky.
Don't hate a country, hate their politics.

I cant speak for our secretive government but there is no "Russiaphobia" in our media as far as I can tell. Actually our media these days mostly covers the decline of America. As an American who's not that old I can tell you that as a kid our government and even our schools were literally saying "The Russians are coming, and they want to kill us". I and many others never really bought in to that fully. The majority of Americans are morons however and buy right into that sort of thing.
