Wow..I can't believe you marked the movie down for those two points. Obviously that's your opinion but his use of the word "sizzle" made sense to me b/c Beardon wasn't getting his point and it did need to sound the way HE wanted it to. The "cue" remarks, everyone has always said that MJ was extremely aware about everything and on point w/it. Not really sure why you would get creeped out by him wanting things to go the way he wanted them to so you marked it down? Doesn't seem valid to me...
This is it was great it really gave u a great insight into the making of a musical genuis MJ is and will alwayas be hte greatest enteriner of all time and the shows were gonna take place at the O2 arena in london 3 weeks b4 his death
The Greatest Entertainer Ever Lived ! His Music Lives Forever. His Love lives forever .Let's heal the world , make it the better place :) RIP THE KING OF POP
haha that was too funny i laughed so hard at that part hehe n michael didnt say it's gotta sizzle he said "..its gotta shimmer let it shimmer!" haha that was too halarious that movie was so great! I cant wait to see it again! RIP MJ I LOVE You!
that review was real cool and funny....where did u find that clip of that guys doing the moon walk and falls into the wall?.....its hilarious... i wanna see that clip again
Hey, i was beginning to love your review until you gave it a 3 1/2...My opinion, it's a 4 star .and I love it when MJ speaks his mind...that is why he's a great artist and a perfectionist.. He just wants everything perfect for his fans. And he said let it Simmer...not sizzle..u just have to know what he meant by that to appreciate why he said it...just like the other things he said at the movie..he knows what he is doing. He was not being cuckoo.he's a perfectionist..he knows what his fans wants
He said "let it SIMMER" and as 4everMJ09 said he's always been a perfectionist and you have to know what he meant by that to appreciate it. He knows what he's doing I mean the guy was in the music industry for over 40 YEARS for godsakes. I like that he speaks his mind and besides he rarely ever did interviews so it was nice to hear from him. So I enjoyed the film and look forward to seeing how amazing it will look on blu-ray!!!! At age 50 he still had the voice and the moves!
RE: "Let it simmer," it's obvious this douchebag reviewer is not a musician or performer of any sort. Though he appreciates the end result of MJ's work, he has no idea you have to break eggs to make omelette. That was one of the parts that proved MJ was NOT a crazy person - you moron! - cringe all you want, but director Ortega wanted to jump in on the music cue, and MJ rightfully took audience reaction into account and suggested a pause before band tutti - hence: "Let it simmer."
I knew what he was doing asshole. I just poked fun at it because it caught me off guard. It doesnt mean I didnt appreciate him more after seeing that. Dont be so quick to judge me.
TomChatalbash, How can u possibly call ME asshole when YOU are clearly saying in your review how "squirmish" MJ made you? Why - because he was clarifying a music cue?! Are u kidding? Look, we all appreciate you took the time to review the film, but positive or negative comments should always be backed up with INFORMED reasons. Your comment made you look completely doofusly uninformed. He looked "cuckoo"? He "scared" you? I judge you on YOUR words, not my opinion.
This movie does raise some conspiracy type questions though. Like how come no other concert released any behind the scenes footage ? It's almost like they knew something was going to happen so they decided to film everything.
But I hate conspiracies. They make people look like damn fools.
The footage was made for MJ personal library and also they were planning on filming some of the concerts and including some of the rehearsal footage in a dvd. It doesn't mean they knew he was going to die or something was going to happen. Don't buy into what the media is saying about the reason why they have all these footage. This is not the first time MJ has filmed his rehearsal for a concert or a tour. The only difference is this time it was made into a movie because he died.
Goddam - there's no conspiracy, fools! EVERY major artist films ALL their rehearsals, especially dance artists, so they can review the show and correct errors, or improve on it, etc. Geezus - you x-file people should get out of the house once in awhile.
