  • To all video viewers:

My husband Ken passed away on March 21, 2009. He joins our beloved dog Buddy who passed away on December 21, 2006. I'm sure they are walking in the woods together I miss both of them dearly. Ken's wife, Laura.

  • This made me cry. Both of my dogs were taken from me. My parents made poor decisions and in the mix up of all of it, my dogs had to be taken away... :(

  • I am sorry. I know they still love and miss you.

    Ken

  • Goodbye Buddy, all dogs go to heaven

  • Thank you for your comment. I cry for him every day.

  • I cannot bear to watch such a happy being not know his time was soon. May God or Whatever gods there are watch over him. I can't imagine losing my dog. Because of this, I appreciate my darling Foxy more and more. I will now subscribe. Thanks.

  • I'm glad to know how special Buddy was to us. Please hug Foxy in the name of Buddy. He would be proud to know he made a difference.

    Peace,

    Ken

  • UPDATE...

Buddy died on Dec. 21, 2006. He went to three of his favorite parks, a long ride in the country, a belly full of popcorn and his ball in his mouth. He was a happy dog.

    I miss him.

  • Buddy is so cute... I know how hard it is to loose a dog you love... The movie's so sad and yet so happy.

  • Thank you for your comment and for subscribing. I'm taking him to a specialist on December 11. Hopefully there is something they can do.

  • When you are out walking with your best friend, everything in the world seems at peace and in order. I miss walking my dogs so much.

  • This video made me smile, big time. But it also left me saddened as well. Great job Ken. Lots of heartfelt emotions in this video. Hang tough buddy.

  • Thank you. We're making the most of our time together.

  • Thank you for the comment. I've been spending as much time as I can in the woods that he loves. It's been bittersweet as I've also been looking for a place to bury him while we're on our walks, so his pending death is also with us on our walks, like an univited third person.

  • Beautiful buddy

man's best friend indeed for Ken

    never forgotten

  • Thanks Ben & Amanda

  • Man's best friend indeed

  • When I got him in 2000, it was the first time I started taking walks in the woods alone since I was a kid. He thought I was taking him for walks, but I've come to understand that he's been walking me. Thanks for your comment, Richard.

  • This is a wonderful tribute to Buddy. It is magical the bond between humans and dogs.

  • This is going to be a hard one.

  • Keep your chin up Ken and try to make Buddy's time as fun as you can make it for him.

  • Thank you.
