  • One of the all-time funniest movies. My buddy and I saw this at the movies in 4th grade and I swear we did not stop laughing throughout the entire movie. And watching it today I still notice little things I've missed through the years.

  • EPIC!

  • Alfred Potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MisterReta: *Albert Potato

  • Tell the teacher we're shootin and never comin back hahahaha

  • This looks like something you would expect to see in Apocalypse Now

  • ESTA GRABADO EN XAGO BEACH...JJJEJJJ!

  • I have to wonder if this song was part of the inspiration for Weird Al's "Trigger Happy," which is also a 1960s surf-rock / Beach Boys / Jan & Dean stylistic parody with guns as subject matter.

  • "And time permitting.........Frank Sinatra".....had me aching with laughter. This movie is simply hilarious

  • I put this song on my Ipod.

  • weired

  • I THOUGHT VAL KILMER SANG FOR THE DOORS?

  • val kilmer is........ totally bitchin'!

  • 2 people didnt have a 12 gauge and a surf board

  • DESCOJONANTE

  • I saw this at the cinema when it first came out, didn't really enjoy the film as I had a headache, when I saw it on video a few years later I LOL'd all the way through it. One of my favourite films, up there with Monty python.

And no, he is not Mel Torme'.

  • wow childhood memories :D totally

  • at first I thought they combined skeet shooting with a nudist beach.

  • Two of the Beach Boys disliked this video....

  • @Turco949 That's some funny shit!!

  • How are thoes two idiots, i think their blind...

  • 1:38

    excellent

  • Awesome movie! I must seen it like 40 times and still laugh my ass out!

    AWESOME!

  • About the only good thing in this movie but, hey, one of the GREAT parody tracks. Somehow I can't imagine the Beach Boys objecting...

  • Blimey the chorus is 'Little Honda' by the BB's

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @PlauvelyBeatles "Skeet Surfin" from the movie "Top Secret" from 1983. But it's very inspired by the original songs Surfin Safari and Surfin USA by the Beach Boys from the early 60's: )

  • I wish they could all be double barreled guns.

  • "...and we'll have fun with our guns till a lamprey takes our ammo away"

  • True fact left out of the history books: Nick Rivers was the single largest influence on the Beatles and the Beach Boys.

Awesome movie; must have been so much fun to make.

  • I remember me lying on the floor laughing...back 1985... I couldnt breathe...You have to see it 10 times to see all jokes. The ultimate Masterpiece of ZAZ!!!

    Thanks for posting this song!!!

The funniest movie I have ever seen!

    Greetz from Germany....

  • I'm trying to guess all the songs that inspired this musical pastiche.. so far I hear:

    - surfin usa (beach boys)

    - fun fun fun (beach boys)

    - california sun (the rivieras)

    - do it again (beach boys)

    - california girls (beach boys)

what's your guess on the piece that starts at 2:24???

  • @TheViralSBK i think it's Hawaii (the B. B.)

  • @TheViralSBK

It's also a beach boys song, just forgot it's name, but can check LPs later.

  • ...and time permitting: Frank Sinatra

  • me and my friends have gotten high and watched this move a few times, and none of them that have seen in in that state could tell you what happens hahaha

  • VERY funny movie, they should still make movies this hilarious, lol

  • "You dropped your phony dog poop.....What phony dog poop?"

  • I know a little German. He's over there.

  • Grandma at 2:22 Never caught that before.

  • What makes this movie so funny is that It takes place in World War II (the 1940's) and Rock n roll didn't come until 10 years later and surf music 20 years later.. Classic!!! hilarious

  • You're such a jerk... East Germany didn't exist during WW2

  • @DarthMauricius I don't know if you're serious or just jerkin' my chain... I don't remember mentioning anything about East Germany. Either way, you are Correct though. ha ha ha

  • @Jazzy9964 Not really, it actually takes place in the early 60s or at least post-WWII because they are clearly saying "East Germany" but there's a funny inconsistency anyway - east Germany is a communist country but the military are dressed like nazist-times Germany, minus the svastika

  • So fucking funny. Got it on vhs and too lazy to get it in mp4. Great movie. Has me in stiches.

  • @asifsmartie

    1984

  • "Your skeetin heart", LOL

  • This is the best film opening title I think I've ever seen. The whole film is one little gem after another.

  • This is the best film opening I think I've ever seen. The whole film is one little gem after another.

  • If Everybody had a 12-gauge, and a surfboard too...There would be no war :D

  • At 1:59: #4 on the list: Nick Rivers and Tammy Wynette "Your Skeetin' Heart" ROFL

  • 1:37

  • Hahaa! "if everybody had a 12-gage and a surfboard too.." : )

  • I wish they all could be double-barreled...

  • 1:37 lol

  • "Totally bitchin' to ride that wave to blast that pigeon."

  • A totally awesome classic movie!: )

  • This movie is the only one that made me cry from laughter. "I know a little German, he's sitting over there..." XD HAHAHA!

  • the line 'totally bitchin" pretty much sums up the whole movie

  • Was I the only one that saw the old people running to the water @2:49

  • @sinclairchap Nope :D

  • Very underrated movie, farse-type films just aren't like this anymore. I always remembered the 'anal intruder' -scene. 'I just can't bring my wife to orgasm.'

  • i wish they all could be double barrel guns : lol

  • Best movie ever ! love it

  • it's totally bitchin

  • lolwut?

  • @asifsmartie I saw it in South Africa in the drive in in 1984 or 1983

  • The goofy thing about this sequence is that it was filmed off the west coast of ENGLAND! According to the director, it was freezing (about 40 degrees farenheit) and the performers suffered badly. That might be why you see some wet suits in there. Another goofy thing: the black actors were English, and the "Brother" who high fives Chocolate Mousse in the cabin shoot-out scene had to be instructed on how to sound like an American by a Jewish guy from Wisconsin!

  • Best Sport Ever.

  • This movie never gets old! And it has so many funny details, like the magazine that says: "My daughter is dead, but so is the burgler" at 2:19. Great parody!

  • One person is a Vampire Sucks fan

  • @WetKant You don't understand! It makes fun of Twilight! Nobody's ever done that before!

  • 1 person missed the like button :O

    they must be blind!

  • This film is a fine example of the parody genre. It's funny even if you don't know or aren't familiar with what they are parody. This is along the lines of Airplane and the Hotshots movies. Great song that is upbeat, funny, and covers a lot of ground. Great movie.

  • let's think about this for one second'Guns, surfboards, waves? Okay one time maybe, but cmon here humans, this is gonna take practice and a few fatalities!

  • When we shoot the curl we REALLY shoot the curl.

    CLASSIC!!!

  • it's by far the best comedy EVER...it's the Mecca of all that's funny in a movie! I LOV EI T!

  • The most, & only intersting part if this movie, is the big breasted bikini bathing beach babe: I love the sene, when she raises up off the sand, & shows where she has left a perfect indention in the sand, where both her breast were.... Odd, that there was no credit, for her.... She has remained a "mystery", all these years....

  • and time permitting : Frank Sinatra. LOL !!!!!!!

  • I fucking love this movie.

  • 2:24 always gets me

  • I like the fact that they shot some of this in Newkey :-) It looks a bit overcast in some shots.

  • i also like when all the people come running down the beach, there is a grandma, a 2 year old. and all those other people who shouldn't be there!

  • my favorite part is at 1:37 this is an awesome movie.

  • I'd say closer to 30. Oh how time flies...

  • @sainters7 Yeah, it was early to mid 1980s.

  • This is one of my favorite movies and it is extremely underrated.

  • @Randomness099 TOTALLY agree. I get a grin whenever I see this vid.
