not a common issue for nissa nor infiniti.... but all car comp. have some bad cars my 2000 infiniti has 170k miles on it and runs very good...no major problems at all

i use to work for volvo.... its the computer or something electrical.. i know this because i can here the car rev really funny.. the computer must be replaced.. I'm not a mechanic, but we had the exzact same problem with a brand new s70 volvo..

Seems like it could be MAF related. Have they tested the MAF + wiring?

Thats inexcusable for a vehicle that price. And even if it does that I'm sure the technicians can diagnose the problem. I wouldn't say Nissan/Infiniti lacks customer service, I've bought a 96 Nissan Maxima back in 2000. Hope they fix it you got a machine there.

Nissan has bought the car back...over six months a getting the run around! Done deal, I will not be buying another Nissan product.

It is at the dealership, now for week #2, they had it for over a month at one point. It is at Nalley Infinity.

Man i know every thing about Infiniti dealerships and how they treat there Buyers.

First do you have a loaner? And if you do is it a FX35.

Yes, I do have a loaner and it is an EX35.

And no you need to take it back to infinit and tell them to fix it and give you a loaner till they fix the problem.

Infiniti and nissan techs just try figure out the problems with computer and not look at the engien or starter motor.

What dealership do you take it too?

Thats pretty weird.

How many miles and what year ill do some research tomorrow(my dad owns an infiniti dealership and i can ask the warrenty administrator if theres been any problems.)

The car is only 1.3 yrs old and has only 17k miles on it. The car has been doing this since I baught it. I am so sit of the dealership right now.
