What a shame - right from the beginning of this committee - there is no long term vision - just band aid - putting out fires - no planning for the future. Why not have a vision of ZERO WASTE??? This committee is supposed to plan for the next 20 to 25 years. I wonder who benefits by pushing landfills??? Councillor Sled and Little sure have only CONTROL - CONTROL (of what and why??) in mind....Next meeting Jan 18 2010 at Simcoe County Chambers. Please come and engage.....
