It is a foolish notion that youth only wants youth. The young want someone who can offer a future, which is quite a different matter. Age is incidental, neither an asset nor a liability. Ability, backed up by a successful track record, is essential. Tomorrow's electorate will vote on merit, not reservation.

The campaign is not asking India's youth to vote for young people - it is asking young voters to exercise their right to elect candidates of their choice (whether young or old, man or woman). At the launch event, they mentioned that only 12.5% of registered young voters actually cast their votes - which is why this whole campaign was conceived!
